The Ministerial Coordination Meeting serves as a strategic consolidation forum to strengthen the implementation of National Talent Management as a human capital development instrument carried out systematically and sustainably. The signing of the PKS and NDA forms part of parallel efforts within the meeting to reinforce a national talent data governance system that is integrated and interconnected within a sustainable national ecosystem.
The Minister for National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy highlighted the importance of National Talent Management as an overarching framework for orchestrating integrated cross-government interventions, agencies, and partners to ensure that Indonesia’s best talents are able to grow, develop, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
“The National Talent Management design is an essential component of national development. Our nation’s future will be determined by our ability to prepare talents who are capable of competing at the global level,” Minister Rachmat stated.
Minister Rachmat further stressed that the integration of the national talent pool must be underpinned by strong data systems. As a strategic development instrument, National Talent Management must ensure fair and equitable access for all Indonesian children to develop their full potential.
Through stronger institutional coordination and integrated data governance, the Government aims to establish a more effective national talent ecosystem capable of supporting long-term human capital development and enhancing Indonesia’s global competitiveness
