NUSA DUA – The Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas held a National Development Planning Conference (Musrenbangnas) in the context of preparing the 2025-2045 National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, Monday (22/5).
The Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa stated that the 2025-2045 RPJPN, which carries the theme of Sovereign, Advanced, and Sustainable, will become the guideline towards achieving the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision.
“In the future, we must focus on the inhibiting factors of development. If we can find this, then automatically it can converge with the 2025-2045 RPJPN so that the consistency of central and regional planning is maintained,” Minister Suharso said.
Bappenas’ Deputy of Economic Affairs Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti added that the 2025-2045 RPJPN is being prepared with the involvement of the community, especially through public agendas such as the Musrenbangnas and the 2025-2045 RPJPN Public Consultation Forum, which was held last week.
“The 2025-2045 RPJPN is a strategic direction planning document. Thus, the contents of the RPJPN consist of the visions, missions, and future directions of development, which is an intermediate vision towards the eternal vision contained in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution,” Amalia said.
The preparation of the 2025-2045 RPJPN prioritizes cross-sectoral transformation and collaboration so that meetings between development actors are no longer arranged per development sector. This strategy was also chosen to ensure solid cooperation and avoid the culture of ‘silos’.
Discussion of the transformation strategy in the 2025-2045 RPJPN Musrenbangnas includes social transformation, economic transformation, governance transformation, to the foundation of transformation which includes the rules of law, stability, and toughness of diplomacy, as well as socio-cultural and economic resilience.
“We hope that the substance of the RPJPD will be in harmony with the RPJPN which is adjusted to the characteristics of each region and circumstances,” Minister Suharso said.
Apart from going through the Public Consultation Forum and the 2025-2045 RPJPN Musrenbangnas, Bappenas is also opening opportunities for the public to provide input on the 2025-2045 RPJPN through the indonesia2045.go.id website.
“We continue to monitor and hope that all components of society can provide constructive input in the framework of preparing the RPJPN because we understand very well, the process must be inclusive and participatory,” concluded Bappenas Main Secretary Taufik Hanafi.
